Torties & Reds:

This page features Siamese and Balinese cat photographs in the tortie and red color point patterns. Torties and Reds are not a new pattern or color point. Torties and Red’s have been around for a very long time. I actually worked with this pattern and point back in 2005, but stopped a few years later because of a lack of diversity in the pedigrees to continue the pattern, and so I discontinued my work with the Torties and Reds.

Because of increased popularity for this pattern, I have decided to pick it back up again. I am happy that there are now a lot more reputable breeders working with this pattern and point, this will help in outcrossing and developing stronger bloodlines. I resumed working with the Tortie and Red points Fall of 2019. My favorite color point in this breed is actually Red Point (aka Flame), so I am very happy to get back into this pattern and point!

Two Big Points To Consider:

1. No Two Torties Are Ever Alike, Each Is Unique, Like A Fingerprint. Only Females Can Be Torties.

2. Red Points are also called “Flame” points, and are considered the ‘red-heads” of the color points. They always have cute pink noses, and pink paw pads. Females and Males can be produced in the red point color.
